David Schaal is an actor, writer, director, voice over artist and acting coach with a career spanning television, film, theatre and gaming.

Best known to many as Jay's Dad in the cult comedy series The Inbetweeners and Glynn 'Taffy' in The Office, David has built a reputation for creating memorable, authentic and often larger-than-life characters across comedy and drama.

Alongside his extensive acting career, David has written screenplays and stage plays, directed short films, voiced characters for major video games and commercials, and coached actors at some of the UK's leading drama institutions. With decades of industry experience both in front of and behind the camera, David brings honesty, humour, intensity and craft to every project he undertakes.
